GLPI
The software inventoried in GLPI becomes your monitored stack, resynced automatically.
What the connector does
The GLPI connector reads software and versions through the GLPI REST API, with a read-only account. Each inventory name is matched to a product known to CVEs, and the stack follows additions, upgrades and removals.
What comes into TechWatchAlert
- Software from the GLPI inventory, with publisher and versions
- Only products known to CVEs, matched automatically (“Mozilla Firefox (x64 fr)” becomes firefox)
- A sample of unrecognized software, shown on the connector card
- Removals: anything the connector had added that has disappeared leaves the stack
Setup
- In GLPI, enable the REST API and token login, then create an API client and an API token on a read-only account
- In TechWatchAlert, enter the GLPI address (with https://), the application token and the user API token
- Save, then “Sync now” for a first read
