REST API v1

What the connector does

The REST API v1, described in OpenAPI, gives access to your organization's projects, stack, alerts, cases, end-of-life data, statistics and CVE database. It is read-only, except for three write permissions you must check explicitly: scan upload, SBOM upload and workflow write.

What comes into TechWatchAlert

• Read: projects, stack, alerts, cases, end-of-life data, monitored URLs, workflows, statistics, CVE database and articles
• Write with explicit permission: upload of scan reports and SBOMs, workflow management
• Keys can be restricted by resource family, by project and by expiry date

Setup

1. In the organization settings, API tab, create a key (admin role required)
2. Copy it: it is shown only once
3. Call https://app.techwatchalert.com/api/v1 with the “Authorization: Bearer <key>” header
